Follow the lights and find the Christmas magic

How a SantaTrail works
Follow the string of lights from the first postcode to the last chapter.
Walk a string of lights
Start at your own front door, the community hall or the main street. Every stop is threaded onto one route that keeps to the quiet streets.
- Main road stretches marked in red, with a warning on the card
- Works on any phone, nothing to install
- Progress is saved, so you can finish another night
A story at every door
A Christmas story written for your trail, with the next chapter waiting at every stop.
- Written for you before a single stop joins, and ready to edit
- Children collect a letter at each chapter and spell the magic word
- Chapters arrive in order, wherever a family starts
For a street, a neighbourhood, a family or a main street
Pick who adds the stops. The string of lights and the story work the same way on all three.
- Community. Households add their lights and everyone votes, sealed until the envelope opens
- Family & Friends. A private walk that only your link can open
- Business. Shops list with opening times and festive offers, NZ$20 each
Up and running in ten minutes
Type a postcode and we draw the map. Then share one link and let the stops come to you.
- Every street and footpath drawn for you
- A QR poster for the noticeboard and every shop window
- New stops approved with one tap, and the route re-threads itself
Wondering what families will see?
Walk the demo trail on your phone or computer, just like a family would.
